- autumn 2002: Participation in JAN KLARE’s music-theater-project MAKING GOLD, which is an experiment with alchemy
- MATTHIAS MÜLLER BHAVAN is given the jazzwerkruhr-award and records a CD with producer John Corbett from Chicago
- 2003: SUPERNOVA starts a new project called HALBMOND & STERN (half-moon & star) where arrangements and originals of turkish music are played with turkish musicians who live in the ruhr-area
- 2004: ANDREAS WAHL EXPERIMENTLE BAND is given the jazzwerkruhr-award and produces his debut CD which is released in autumn 2005
- since autumn, 2005 guitarist with U.F.O. (unidentified flying orchestra) under the direction of Katrin Scherer and Sven Decker
- 2006 prizewinner of the International Songwriting Competition
- also in 2006 development of a solo program for guitar, loops and live electronics
- 2007: Member of the ZODIAK TRIO, an electro-acoustic 3 man occupation, founded from trumpet player John-Dennis Renken

- since 2009 guitarist with german composer, bandleader and saxophon-player Katrin Scherer in her project THE BLISS
- autumn 2009 member of the european project “jazzplayseurope” with 7 musicians from 5 countries (Belgium , France, Netherlands, Poland, Germany)
- also 2009 reactivation of the long-existing trio FREIE WAHL (which means: “free choice”) with new compositions
- November 2009 presentation of his solo-program and duo concert with Steve Swallow at the Philharmony Essen
- since 2010 teaching assignment for jazz-guitar at the “University of Applied Sciences” in Osnabrück”
- August 2011: Solo-CD “torc” is released
